Start/Finish: Budapest, Városliget, Olof Pálme sétány – In front of Palme House
To lessen overcrowding on the course, runners START IN WAVES.
It means we are going to divide the field into four equal parts – runners will start in four waves.
1st wave: 1st starting corral (expected pace: 4:30 min/km), 2nd starting corral (expected pace: 4:30-5:00 min/km)
2nd wave: 3rd starting corral (expected pace: 5:00-5:30 min/km)
3rd wave: 4th starting corral (expected pace: 5:30-6:00 min/km)
4th wave: 5th starting corral (expected pace: 6:00 min/km and up)
There will be race marshals ahead of the 2nd wave, who will accompany the field to the starting line.
The 2nd wave starts after a 1-1,5 minute interval, and the same will apply to the runners starting in the 3rd and 4th waves.
You will get a sponge when picking up your bib and you can wet it at the start and at all the refreshment stations.
In case of hot weather, we will also set up some temporary water stations.
You cannot drop off individual refreshments.
All the events will be chip timed with BIB tag by AGNI-Timing
You can see the race results here: www.runinbudapest in the afternoon on the day of the event, September 11th.
